Emiko's Kind

Emiko's Kind is our final project for F3D. We were suppose to create a wearable breathing apparatus for Emiko, a futuristic bio-engineered human being living in 23rd century Thailand in the book, The Windup Girl. Part 1 of the project required us to lookat at SEM photography, or repetition in an image, and create the repeated pattern with a module, creating a modular structure. Part 2 required us to form the breathing apparatus, inspired by the module we used in part 1 and create structures that are aesthetically pleasing and functional.
