Question 3: Visual Narrative

Create a narrative using the theme THE FUTURE. Please illustrate this in a comic strip or storyboard of 6 to 9 images on one piece of paper. This sequence will show your ability to tell a story with visuals.

I'm pretty concerned about climate change and global warming in general, thus I decided to create a piece depicting the death of our planet. The female is a representation of mother earth, also known as Gaia. The illustrated piece depicted a zoom in of her pupil, where our planet resides. The 3rd panel depicts a healthy planet. The 4th panel is inked in black to depict a change in mood, and the Japanese hieroglyphics means "Gaia". It is anthropomorphize to depict mankind's suicide on our only planet. The colour changes to a darker shade to depict the slow death in the 5th panel, and the 6th panel depicts the complete death of the planet.
